“Ciao Chloe” began as a health, lifestyle, and travel blog. After watching the two TED talks – “What I learned from 100 days of rejection” by Jia Jiang, and “A kinder, gentler philosophy of success” by Alain de Botton, Chloe was immediately inspired to transform “Ciao Chloe” into a self-improvement and motivational blog, aiming to push readers into adopting a more purposeful life, and to achieve a higher awareness of who they really are.
Who is Chloe?
If Chloe were to be summed up in one sentence – she is free-spirit who is always looking to learn, to adventure, and to thrive. She is a 20-year-old girl who loves to write, travel, be creative, learn, teach, and meet new people. She was born in Edmonton, Canada, but grew up in the metropolitan city of Hong Kong attending international schools before returning to Canada for higher education. Being thrown into the very busy and fast-paced lifestyle that Hong Kong holds, she was impacted into developing independence quickly and growing up fast. Her experiences in interacting with vastly unique people, in unique places and situations, along with her exposure from traveling, and her experience with a troubled yet unique childhood, gradually propelled her onto a journey of self-improvement and development. She is currently in her last year in her Bachelor’s Degree studying Health, with a a minor in Italian, and hopes to move on to a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology in the near future.
